THE CHANCELLOR
Her Excellency (Dr) Aisha Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, was born on the 7th of May 1968 in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State, where she grew up in a loving and deeply religious family. She started the basic education of that time when she got married. Hence, she was determined not to let the rigors of motherhood deter her from continuing her education.
She later furthered her secondary school education at Junior Secondary School Garki, one of the numerous public schools in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and the Senior Secondary School Tudun Wada, Wuse, Abuja, where she obtained her Senior Secondary School Certificate. She proceeded to the University of Abuja where she graduated with Honours in Public Administration. She received several notable awards and recommendations for exemplary leadership and enviable contributions to societal development. She holds distinguished traditional titles, worthy of note is the Sarauniyar Bauchi, among others.
Her Excellency has participated in numerous global forums to champion the cause of women, children, and climate change action. She is the Chancellor of Al-Muhibbah Open University. Driven by a passion for philanthropy, she founded Al-Muhibbah Foundation a not-for-profit organization dedicated to delivering humanitarian support to the less privileged.
Her Excellency is a mother and grandmother to loving children and is the wife of His Excellency Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, Kauran Bauchi, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State.
She holds to her honour several traditional title notably the Sarauniyar Bauchi.
